About Dr. Hall

Dr. Laura B. Hall, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and skilled cataract surgeon. Her passion for ophthalmology was shaped during her doctoral studies at Yale University, where she conducted groundbreaking research on age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and worked closely with the CT Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind (BESB) to enhance patient care.

Dr. Hall focused her research on novel migraine treatments and ways to improve glaucoma medication compliance during her ophthalmology residency training at the Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Hall is also a committed educator, sharing her knowledge through seminars and workshops for students.

Dr. Hall's global perspective on eye health was enriched by her experiences in a South American ophthalmology clinic, where she honed her conversational Spanish skills to better connect with her patients.

In her free time, Dr. Hall finds joy in exploring the beautiful Connecticut outdoors with her husband and two children.
